Your Instructor: Bob Anderson | |||||
Experience:
Back in August of 1996, Bob Anderson was teaching hands-on LightWave 3D 4.0 workshops on the Amiga platform in the Washburn University /NewTek Technology Center in Topeka, Kansas. At that time, Washburn had the only hands-on training program in the world for LightWave 3D and the Video Toaster/Flyer. In 1998, NewTek Authorized Training Centers have sprung up in several states and Canada but Washburn University remains the leader in training more LightWave 3D users than any other NewTek Authorized Training Center. Bob teaches all of our workshops. In addition, Bob is world's only teacher of hands-on Video Toaster/Flyer workshops in the world.
Credentials:
Bob worked for NewTek for over six years and has trained thousands on the use of LightWave 3D, the Video Toaster, and the Flyer. He has taught demonstration classes at events such as SIGGRAPH, NAB, WEVA, INFOCom, Toaster Expo, and through the American Film Institute, the International Film and Television Workshops, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and the Maine Photographic Workshops.
A Proven Track Record:
Bob knows NewTek products inside and out and he has a natural gift for communicating that knowledge to his students in a fun manner. We've collected pages of testimonials about Bob's great teaching ability but here are just a few typical commentsfrom 1998.
From Boston: "I attended a 16 week class in Boston twice weekly and didn't learn 1/4 of what I learned in Bob's class."
From Minneapolis: "After visiting the Washburn web site, I didn't think the class could be THAT good. Bob outdid my every expectation!"
From Topeka: "Bob did an incredible job of making the workshops a very fun and educational experience. I can't wait to go to work Monday and use all that I have learned." - CWR, Animator, Broken Arrow, OK
From Detroit: "Bob taught me 6 month's worth of information in a mere two days!" - JH, Artist, Michigan
From Washington D.C./ Baltimore: "Before coming to the class, I felt overwhelmed by the number of buttons, panels, and key-ins that are present in Modeler & LW. Bob's explanations of what they all do & WHEN YOU WOULD USE THEM make me feel very comfortable getting around in Modeler & LW."-Video Producer, Washington, DC
From Dallas: "Bob made some very complex issues easy to understand. He was great. I liked the individual attention we received when we were stumped." - NAK, Video Production / Television Supervisor, Altoona, IA
From San Francisco: "I liked Bob's thorough presentation. He answers questions sometimes before they're asked."
From Las Vegas: "Impressed with knowledge, style of instructing, and willingness to share knowledge & assist the students. Great instructor." - JK, Training Director, Tucson, AZ
